Work Safe BC touring the Island

Students in the region are learning about the importance of working safe.
WorkSafe BC is touring the region with speaker Nick Perry to talk to students about work place safety, accident prevention, and their rights as workers
Perry will also share his story – he suffered a spinal cord injury in a workplace accident when he was 19.
He says hearing a personal story seems to really resonate with teenagers.
Perry will be in Port Hardy today and tomorrow and in Port McNeill on Wednesday.
