RCMP Constable Rob Gardner says there are multiple charges associated with impaired driving.
A new study has shown that on average, in the month of December, 4 people are killed in impaired driving related crashes every year in B-C.
And on Vancouver Island, an average of 13 people are killed each year because of impaired driving.
