68 years of the John Hart Dam

On December 15 in 1947, the John Hart Dam was officially turned on.
Now 68 years later, spokesperson Stephen Watson says it’s nice to remember the past.
Watson says this was a time in the1940’s where they started to put out large power supply in the more rural areas of BC.
Watson adds right now they’re in the process of replacing that facility with brand new underground equipment to make the site much better and fit in with the provincial park.
