The Strathcona Regional District will be “minimizing” some operations on Monday to recognize the National Day of Mourning.
The district says its corporate office on 990 Cedar St. will be closed and the Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex will have some operations closed for the Queen’s funeral.
They say the pool will be closed, the arenas will stay open for all booked user groups and there will be an everyone-welcome skate from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The district says they acknowledge the closures and cancellations may inconvenience for some residents.
