There could be some blustery conditions on the North Island this afternoon and into tonight.
A wind warning from Environment and Climate Change Canada is predicting winds between 90 and 110 km/h for exposed coastal sections.
Winds are expected to ease overnight. Environment Canada says loose objects may be tossed by the wind, causing injury or damage and potentially power outages.
