Another wind warning is in effect for the North Island for the day along exposed coastal sections.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, southeast winds of around 90 km/h will hit the area this morning. They add they will decrease late this afternoon to below warning levels.
They add loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. Power outages are also a possibility.
