Wild weather forecast for the next several days in Queen Charlotte Strait has prompted BC Ferries to adjust schedules for Port Hardy routes.
The Northern Expedition will be departing later than usual on Saturday, it won’t be leaving Bella Bella until 2 pm and won’t arrive in Port Hardy until 9 pm. That pushes its departure time back until 1 am early Sunday morning for the return trip north.
Customers are still required to check in 90 to 120 minutes before departure, and should check the revised ferry schedule for this weekend before travelling.

BC Hydro is contacting customers affected by the schedule change, which will be in place until January 8.
