Construction is moving along on the new hospitals in Campbell River and the Comox Valley.
North Island Hospitals Project spokesperson Tom Sparrow says the construction has led to a multitude of employment opportunities for trades people.
The facilities are set to open in April 2017. Sparrow notes that the exterior work is almost complete at both the Campbell River and Comox Valley hospitals.
