Harbour Air’s electric float plane will be making its international debut in Wisconsin next week.
The e-Beaver, powered by a magniX electric engine, will be at the Experimental Aircraft Association Air Venture show in OshKosh starting on Monday. It’s the world’s largest airshow for experimental aircraft.
Bert van der Stege, Harbour Air’s CEO, said in a press release that it will be an excellent opportunity to “demonstrate that a more sustainable future for regional air transportation is possible.”
The e-Beaver will perform demonstration flights at the show and will also be on display for attendees to inspect.
Engine-maker magniX will also be at that airshow.

Harbour Air, based on Vancouver Island, is the world’s largest seaplane airline and the world’s first commercial airline to fly a prototype electric aircraft.
