Have your say in Port Hardy housing needs survey

The District of Port Hardy wants to know what you think are the most important issues surrounding housing in the community.

The town has launched an online survey with the intent of gauging the community’s current and future housing needs, existing and future gaps in housing supply, and to help develop a local housing strategy and action plan.

In Port Hardy, nearly 60% of existing homes are designed for larger households, but population demographics have changed, with less than 30% of households containing three or more people. The district says there’s an opportunity to discuss what the future mix of housing could look like.

Visit the district’s website for a link to the survey and more information.
