The Port Hardy Chamber of Commerce will be in Port Alice this afternoon, for coffee and a chat.
The chamber says that 74% of businesses in BC are considered micro-businesses, with 10 or fewer employees. With the recent success of pop-up mini-shops in Port Alice this summer, other locals may be thinking about how to do something similar.
The Port Hardy Chamber is inviting anyone who is interested to come by the Port Alice Community Centre on Friday afternoon at 2 pm, to learn how to become part of a powerful network, including the provincial and national chamber of commerce associations.
