As part of provincial legislation, the District of Port Hardy has released their housing targets for the future.

Legislation passed in 2023 requiring local governments to provide housing needs assessments over five- and 20-year periods by the end of 2024.

The district released their report at their November 26 council meeting, with numerous documents attached to provide supplementary information.
