The BC government is inviting you to pay respects to former premier John Horgan in a memorial service.
A state memorial service is being held this weekend in honour of Horgan, who passed away in November this year after a third diagnosis with cancer. He led as BC Premier from 2017 to 2022.
They say while the memorial service is open to the public, admission tickets are required to attend.
The service takes place at the Q Centre in Colwood, with public entry being through the main lobby entrance.
They ask you to arrive at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, with doors opening at 11:45.
Because parking will be limited, the province recommends you to take the bus or park by the library.
Tickets can be bought here.
The service starts at 1:00 p.m., with a livestream to be available here.
