The coastline of northern California has had another cluster of earthquakes, similar to an event 10 days ago.
However, the quakes were smaller this time, with the largest a 5.6 magnitude earthquake which happened around 11:20 pm last night [Saturday night]. So far 10 quakes have been recorded in the region, according to the US Geological Survey, but no damages have been reported, and there is no risk of a tsunami.
The previous event was a magnitude 7 quake, which did minor damage in Humboldt County and was followed by at least 65 smaller quakes.

The quake zone is off the coastline southwest of Eureka, where three techtonic plates meet beneath the sea floor.
