The community has said YES to the Port Hardy Multiplex Project. A referendum was held last night and Port Hardy Mayor Hank Bood says close to 400 people voted in favour of the project.
Bood says the next step is finding funding to help the project move forward.
According to preliminary results, 114 residents voted against the project, while 387 voted in favour. The multiplex project will see the replacement of the Port Hardy’s aging pool. For further details about the project, visit the district’s website.
