The much anticipated State of the Island address will be released during the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance Summit this week.
President of the Alliance, George Hanson, says the Economic Report is the only third-party report of its kind reporting on the state of the economy for an entire region in British Columbia.
As many as 600 delegates from across Vancouver Island will be attending the summit, which begins today. Premier Christy Clark will provide the closing comment to delegates on Thursday.
