The River Forecast Centre has issued high stream flow advisories for some areas in the region as a pair of storms brings more rain to the area.
Armel Castellan with Environment Canada says some areas of the island could see upwards of 100 millimetres of rain by the end of today.
Castellan says the system is expected to move past the region this evening, but notes there is more rain in the forecast over the next few days.
