Young people looking for summer work should take a look at Port Alice.
The village is hiring students for several summer positions including the Public Works department and the Tourism office.
The Public Works department needs someone to do groundskeeping work, including weed-eating and mowing lawns. Painting will also be part of the job.

Applicants should have a driver’s licence with at least an N.
The Tourism office needs someone to welcome guests, provide visitors information about the village and local points of interest, and help keep the centre tidy.
The Public Works position starts June 1, the tourism position starts June 30.
