North Islanders have a chance next week to get a health care update directly from Island Health’s president at a public meeting.
The health authority is holding a public board forum on July 3 in Port Hardy. President and CEO Kathy McNeil will be there to provide an update on health and care delivery. Dr. Charmaine Enns, medical health officer for the region, will also be there to answer questions.
If you can’t attend in person, the meeting will be live-streamed on Facebook and Youtube. Virtual attendees with questions can submit them via email in advance.

The meeting is from 6-7:30 pm at the Kwalilas Hotel on Granville Street, on Wednesday.
