The provincial government wants to hear from the public on new livestock watering regulations. It’s looking to make changes to the Water Sustainability Act to improve water management and environmental protection.
It released an intentions paper Friday outlining the changes for areas where there is low-density grazing. Among them are allowing livestock-watering works construction and diverting water from a stream or aquifer.
